Ever since I can remember my passion was to be an educator and work with children. I attended Widener University for Elementary Education, and I have 17 years of experience inside and outside of the classroom. I taught Pre-K for 5 years and fell in love with watching their smiles shine bright whenever they learn something new! As for me, I was born and raised in Orwigsburg, and love the small-town atmosphere. My family consists of my husband, Ryan, and our 2 cats, Mila and Maisie. I love summertime, cats, making charcuterie boards, spending time with friends and family.

I was born and raised in Schuylkill County and have lived in Orwigsburg for 21 years. Because of my love for kids, all of my former jobs have been in childcare in one form or another. My favorite things are my three amazing sons, and one furry cat. When I’m not at Adventure Academy you’ll find me biking with my family, gardening, or making crazy inventions and science experiments with my 9 year old Vaughan! My goal as Director will be to provide a safe and high quality experience for all of our enrolled children. I can’t wait to get to know you and your families!

I was born in Reading and raised in Auburn. My family consists of my two sisters Becky and Emily, and my Mom. I’ve been in child care for 6 years and my favorite part about teaching is building relationships with the kids! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family; my favorite things include walking my dog Curly, going to the beach, and reading. The last few years I really discovered my passion for teaching & working with kids.

I was born in Lehighton and raised in New Ringgold and Mohnton. My family consists of my 6 year old son, Bryce, and my parents. I have 8 years childcare experience. My favorite part about teaching is helping shape the minds of the future. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, and spending time with my family and friends! I love Christmas, the beach, and the Nightmare Before Christmas movie! I graduated from Governor Mifflin in 2002, and then studied Elementary Education at RACC and graduated with an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. I’m looking forward to forming wonderful new relationships with the students and their families!

I was born in Pottsville and raised in Cressona. I was a graduate of Blue Mountain and worked in healthcare for 12+ years. My family consists of my older sister, young brother, Mom, Dad, 3 children, and my husband, Karl. I’ve been in childcare for 2 months. My favorite part about teaching is every day is a new discovery with new milestones to reach, filled with plenty of teachable moments. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and time with family and friends. My favorite things include gardening and crafts. I can’t wait to see each child’s journey during this exciting time in their life. I have only been at Adventure Academy for a short time, but I love children and I am excited to come and play every day!

I am a Schuylkill County native and I’ve lived in Forestville, Pennsylvania, all my life. My own children are my world. I have two sons—David & Dawson—one daughter—Dylenah … and a rescued Pit Bull named Marley. I am a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies. Formerly a TSS worker, I have been teaching in early childhood education since 1999. I started teaching pre-K in 2011 and I quickly fell in love! Every single day holds a teachable moment. My favorite part about teaching is interacting with the children and helping them to understand the content of any subject I am teaching. I adore the many ways they make connections between what they are learning and how they apply it to their own little lives. In my free time, I enjoy swimming at the lake, running, practicing kundalini yoga, listening to reggae music and studying astrology.

I was born and raised in Reading and recently moved up to Auburn. My family includes myself, my husband Peter, my two cats Meowski and Lilith, and my dog Kairi. My family is my whole world. I’ve been in childcare since I was 15, babysat for a couple family friends and volunteered in my church’s children’s ministry. My favorite part about teaching is seeing the kids getting so excited to learn! In my spare time I like to play all of the games; video games, board games, role playing games. Some of my favorite things are rainy days, stingrays, and all things “The Wizard of Oz”.

I was born in Pottsville and raised in Auburn. I am a Schuylkill Haven graduate and attended Southeastern University. My family consists of my husband, Michael, my son Austin, and my daughter Madison. I have been in child care for 38 years. My favorite part about teaching is helping little minds grow. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and baking. My favorite things include spending time with my family and enjoying each day!

I was born in Pottsville and raised in Auburn. My family consists of my mom, dad, and older brother. I’ve been in childcare for 7 years. My favorite part about teaching is seeing the kids grow. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite things include going to sporting events and watching movies.

I was born in Pottsville and raised in Mahanoy City. I went to Elizabethtown College and majored in Sociology/Anthropology with a minor in Social Work! My family consists of my mother, father, and 2 younger brothers! I’ve been in child care for 7 years. My favorite part about teaching is building relationships with the kiddos! In my spare time I enjoy going to the lake and playing softball! 

I was born and raised in Mohrsville, PA and later to moved to Orwigsburg. My family consists of my brother, Devin, and my parents. I’ve been working in childcare for 1 year, and I love interacting and building relationships with the kids. I am currently enrolled at Kutztown University, studying Early Childhood Education. In my spare time I like spending time with my family and friends, and my cat, Scotchie. I am excited for this new adventure!

I recently graduated from Penn State majoring in Rehabilitation and Human Services with a minor in Special Education. I have been in child care for 4 years and my favorite part about teaching is building relationships with kids and their families. In my spare time I enjoy relaxing and going to the gym. My favorite things include walking my dogs Bailey and Dani, hunting, fishing, camping and kayaking!
